Beaker, chemicals, camera and live screening

The Présages series brings together aquatic landscapes chemically activated in glass tanks like hermetic little worlds cut off from our own. Worlds made out of minerals immersed in an aqueous solution, with the artist deploying a whole range of components according to the colours and shapes he hopes to bring into existence.

Two performers are sitting on the floor, each one in front of their own beakers. Hicham Berrada manipulate and drop various chemicals in it. The chemical reactions and compositions are filmed and appears above them on a live projection, while an invited musician creates sounds.
